The OCTG’s annual Awards Evening was held at The Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel, Sandford-on-Thames, on Thursday 20 October… And the winning apprentices were:
Merit Award – James Mayo, Bench Joiner, Gelder Joinery Limited, Headington with Guest Speaker Walter Blackburn and OCTG Chairman Paul Ravenhill. NVQ L2 – Justin Whittaker, Site Carpenter, Stuart Barr CDR Limited, Thame. NVQ L3 – Phil Collins, Site Carpenter, SYMM & Co., Oxford. Special Recognition Award – Tom Anstice, Bench Joiner,Wilkins Joinery Limited, Weston on the Green.
There were 13 Nominees overall (from both Members and Non Members), covering Bricklaying, Site Carpentry and Bench Joinery.
